Our Fun Monday

Sean and Shelley and their family arrived late last night. We are so glad to have them here for Christmas! We get them almost a whole week.
This morning we went to the park, after everyone gathered together. We even had Matt and Leslie's older two boys, because Meagan had them sleep over last night. And I picked up Jen and Will, so they could come too. So my mom had almost all of her grandchildren together at one park! It was super fun. And Hunter was in charge of taking pictures, which he did very well. I think we have close to 100 pictures from the park, but here are a few of my favorites.











After the park, we went to McDonald's for lunch and to play in the play land. It was CRAZY busy, but we just added to the chaos. The kids all had a good time, despite the noise and confusion. Needless to say, by nap time, we were ALL in need of a good one!
Then we had pizza for dinner and a Christmas story Family Home Evening at my mom's. We had everyone there for FHE, which was crazy, but so fun. My mom was just loving having everyone in our family all together. It is not too many times that it happens. We read "The Polar Express" and "How The Grinch Stole Christmas." When we were younger, we used to read those two stories plus a few more on Christmas Eve. But now with so many little ones, it gets to be too long, so we have started having an FHE in December to read a couple of the traditional stories. It was crazy, which is to be expected, but it was fun to all be together!
