The Backyard

Part of this post is long overdue. The other part just got finished today, but is also noteworthy. Here is the deal...
Hunter and my mom wanted a garden. So they devised a plan and built one. Yes, I meant to say built. Hunter pulled weeds, laid plastic over the weeds, built these garden boxes, made them level, staked them into the ground, and then filled them with dirt. He then put mulch between the boxes around the lilac bushes and put in the stone path leading to the gate. Here are some pictures to show off what a great job he did. It looks AWESOME!




The second part of this post is, my parents got a patio poured under their deck. It used to be rock under the deck. The patio got finished today and we are all so excited. Finally we can put up the kiddie pool! :) Now we have a semi-shaded spot to put the slide and kid stuff, without killing the grass. Here is a picture of the new patio!
