Eczema

Well, according to the dermatologist, Keelia has Eczema. I guess Hunter had a mild case of it when he was a kid, but doesn't really have a problem with it now. So hopefully it will go away for Keelia too. For now, we are putting a steroid cream on it, and we are gonna try a couple of different over the counter lotions that are supposed to be good for dry skin, and we have to change her soap. No more baby soap for our baby! Hopefully the combination of these things will clear it up and then we can prevent further break outs by keeping her clothes loose and her skin moisturized. Our poor little one just gets everything! That will just make her stronger later in life, right?! :)

I had it when I was younger and haven't had a problem since. She'll out grow it, I'm sure.

Poor thing! At least you know what it is and can help her get better. She is gonna be one tough cookie!

Oh my gosh! Poor little baby!! Eczema is horrible!! My brother has it REALLY bad on his hands! Definitely so more baby soap!!! That stuff smells good, but it isn't very good for their skin. :) At least you know what it is now and can treat it! Poor little thing....

We like the walmart brand of lubriderm. It has really helped Boyd's excema where the steroid creams haven't. What soap are you suppose to switch to?
