Memorial Day Weekend

We had such a fun long weekend! Late Friday night or early Saturday morning (around the same time we went to the hospital with Keelia), Sean and Shelley and their kids, along with Matt, arrived. Obviously, we didn't see them until the next morning.
But on Saturday morning, we went to Puma Park and played. The Guellers were with us too. My dad is the only one who stayed behind because he was not feeling all that well. Then we came home and had lunch and put the kids down for a nap. After naps, we all just hung out and played, and then we had pizza for dinner. Shortly after dinner, the kiddos went down for the night. And of course, we watched the Nuggets game.
On Sunday, we all went to our ward, even the Guellers. It was nice to have so much family there. Needless to say, with that many kiddos, we just went to Sacrament meeting. Plus, Keelia was still kinda sick, we wouldn't have made it through all of church anyway. After church we ate lunch and then did the nap thing again. For dinner on Sunday, we had really yummy shish-kabobs. It was fun having everyone build their own. It is always so fun to have big family gatherings. Of course, we missed our family who wasn't there this time. On Sunday night, my mom, Shelley, and I stayed up late talking. It was nice to get to talk to Shelley. I don't get to do that very often.
On Monday morning, we headed to Lonetree Rec. Center to swim. We seem to do that a lot in our family when we get together, but the kids just love it and it is relatively cheap. So why not? After dragging the kids out of the pool, we came back home to get our traditional Memorial Day BBQ going. There is almost nothing better than grilled food! That is one of my favorite things about Summer. Although, our weather this weekend was far from Summery. It was cloudy and rained everyday. We needed the moisture, but it sure didn't fit the mold of Memorial Day's past. After the BBQ, everyone but Hunter, Keelia, and I (Keelia was asleep, so we opted to stay home), went to my brother Collin's grave. The Utah travelers left from the cemetery and the Guellers went home. And all of a sudden, life was back to "normal."
It was really fun to have the triplets here. We don't get to see them very often and it was fun to have a chance to get to know them better. They are such sweet kids and it was fun for Keelia to have so many friends here her age. She is still working on warming up to some of the family, but it all takes time. I am going to have to be better about working with her and people's pictures. Hopefully that will help and make things easier.
Anyway, here are a lot of pictures. So bare with me. The first bunch are from when we went to the park on Saturday. The second bunch are from the pool on Monday. Far too many to label, but enjoy them anyways.
